Our camera's still on the fritz (hmmm, is that a word?) so I haven't gotten any photos posted, but wanted to let everyone know we were still alive. I am desperate to get some hair pics on here just for fun. It's pretty crazy having such short hair... I'm forever catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror and going, "oh help, is THAT what I look like?" I still - after all this time - picture myself with a big old pile of hair. Slow learner, I guess. =)
Anyway, hopefully there will soon be photos to attach here so all the rest of you can share in the hair growing.

Well, Michelle, I have been checking for some new photos, but now I know why they haven't been forthcoming....a "fritzy" camera.
Bummer.
Anxious to see the hairdo you are sporting now!! I'm sure it does seem totally odd to have short hair...I remember you having long braids when you were just a little thing.

Hey Michelle-Don't know if you remember me, but I was checking out your cancer pictures in your online album yesterday. Thanks for posting them! Keeps things in perspective for the rest of us. Looks like you kept in pretty good spirits and tried to have fun. We're glad that you are doing better. Can't wait to see the pictures of your hair now. If you want, I'll cut off a couple of feet of mine for you! HeeHee. I always complain about how long it is, but seeing you with none made me thankful.

Hey there, Shell! Melody posted a pic of you & her (feeding baby kittens!!) and you can see your short hair there! It looks good!! :) A badge of honor, some would say. :)
After reading Jocelyn's comment, i went back to your picture site and I noticed that you never seem to have lost your eyebrows and eyelashes. Is that true? Were you one of the "lucky ones" with that? :)
I need to come up and visit. Just looking at your pictures makes me feel like I want to have a good chat with you. :)
Hope Andy doesn't shoot your camera like Morgan did to Michelle's when it was on the fritz! (that is now an official word!:)
You look great with your new hairdo - the beautiful countenance beneath it all makes it so that bald, short hair, or long doesn't matter - beauty shines forth.

I agree with Mel. I saw the pixie hairdo in person and thought to myself "I guess Michelle is one of those people who looks adorable bald, with a tinkerbell hairdo, or with long hair!" :) And it really is the countenance. I can't say how much our little time with you and Andy Ray did for us. I want new pictures of you on your new horse when your camera is working - have you ridden him yet?

And Jen, yes I lost my eyebrows and lashes and I must be frank - I HATED that!!! I didn't mind being bald, but not having brows and lashes makes a person look awful. Plus so, so, SO self-conscious!

Mel and Shell - thanks again for all the great chats while we were there - we loved it too. I'll get pics posted soon I hope. As soon as life settles down from the latest upheaval. Andy'll start haying in a couple days, we've put in a garden and put most of Tiff's flowers from the greenhouse in their more permanent beds, so summer is definitely off to a good start around here.
Hey ther Michelle...just looked at some of your photo albums and must say you are truly a gifted photographer! Either that or you get some lucky shots!!! Can't wait until there are more here on the blog! As for the hair...I can't don't think you looked anything but cute!
