Lots of pictures of life at home

In latest cancer news, in one day I go from this:

To this:

And this:

And this:
And this: :) See how much fun wigs can be. And that's not to mention all the hat options I have... I'm gonna miss my curls, but till they come back again we shall wear hats and wigs with great abandon.

We had twin calves born to a heifer a couple nights ago. She was confused about what to do with these two weird little, slimy beings, so this whole household spent the night awake, feeding and babying those tiny critters, doing our best to keep them alive. It worked - they're both thriving. The little heifer, who somehow got dubbed 'Louise' by AndyRay, was taken back by her momma without batting an eye. Poor Teddy though, got left alone, so now he's a human/dog/calf. Our dogs have starting bawling (seriously) and I'm expecting Teddy to start barking any day now because they've all become fast friends. Here are some photos of the new addition. The video looks blurry on here, but you'll get the idea:

Michelle........your wigs are adorable, YOU are adorable, even without hair, so of course your wigs are going to look that way on you.

I must say I am totally impressed with that awesome dog's diligent licking and loving on that cute little baby calf. You do have extraordinarily wonderful pets. Hurrah on saving the twin calves!

You look BEAUTIFUL bald and if you were in warm weather I'd say just go bald! The second picture made me think of Sinead O'Connor.

Those are wonderful pictures! I just showed them to Elaine too and she says you look lovely, with or without the wig! I agree! Bring on the wigs & hats! :) Love, Shawna

So many looks, so many styles, so many choices...and all of them cute, even the bald look. Honest! Not everyone can pull off the no-hair look as well as you do. But in chilly winter weather, a little something on the top for warmth is always preferable =)

I can only say "ditto" to everyone who says the wigs and no hair look pretty cute! Also, I admire how you can have fun with something that isn't much fun... that tells me that cancer isn't winning - you guys are. Reminds me of the old saying "If life hands you lemons, make lemonade!" :)

I hope you don't think we're all just saying this, but you really do look beautiful - with or without hair. The first time we saw a pic of you without hair Carol and I were amazed at how well you can pull it off. Know it's not much fun for you, but please don't ever get blue about the appearance of it - you make bald look good!!! I bet Monte and Dad wish they could do it justice like you do!!:) hee hee hee
Have a great day - and enjoy your unique pets!:)

Your smile is so very contagous!

If I could, I'd kiss the top of your bald head just like I do Gentry's. Well, it always makes him smile anyway.

Aaahh folks! Thanks for your wonderous, kind words. And Lainey, thank goodness for spouses like you and Andy who don't look at us baldies with aversion, because kisses on the top of bald heads are an awesome feeling.

I am going to echo everyone else, but I think you look beautiful too! We are thinking about you guys, and we have officially started calving too. Our dogs are not quite as kind as yours though...;)

Good Morning...
I've been away from the computer for a while ~ I was sure glad to log on and get in touch again! Our mail is still at the post office, so that's my next stop...it's time that calendar is on our wall instead of in that envelope!! (;-)
Words can't tell you how sharing your lovely pictures has effected us, Michelle. It truly proves that when the beauty is coming from the inside, cancer/treatment can't take it away! Visiting your website makes me feel like the people who went to encourage a woman in the hospital, but they left ~ knowing they were the ones that benefited the most from the visit!
All for now...
Love ya',

Mel hit it on the head.....I'd give a lot to look half as good as you do with no hair!
I've had a lot of comments on your calendar...
Good luck calving!
